Cliff Sweeney, Principal Instructor

Cliff is a Founder of Heights Middle School Shorts and a Creative Arts Teacher at Lake Erie Ink. He’s been the Principal Instructor at Heights Middle School Shorts since 2022.

Cynthia Booker, M.Ed., HMSS Film Instructor

A native of North Carolina, Cynthia teaches digital video production at Cleveland Heights High School. She brings more than 20 years of media experience to the classroom as a two-time Emmy award-winning journalist who was an anchor/reporter at Cleveland’s WOIO-TV & WUAB-TV.

Cynthia’s journey in broadcasting has afforded her the opportunity to learn producing, videography, and editing skills and has prepared her for her current role as a media teacher. A wife and mother of two sons, Cynthia is humbled to be teaching students the art of storytelling in a digital world.

Antonio Harper, HMSS Film Instructor/Editor

Antonio Harper is the founder of West 10G Productions. A Heights alum and graduate of Cleveland State University’s Film & Digital Media program, he was the Film Instructor for our inaugural Heights Middle School Shorts camp. . In 2016, he founded West 10G Productions, a Cleveland-based independent film production studio. Currently, Antonio and his partner are in Los Angeles working on a significant production.

Tyler Maxey, Music Instructor, HMSS Film Scores

Heights grad Tyler Maxey is a composer/arranger who specializes in film music, concert music, and custom-arranged scores for marching and pep bands. He designed and teaches our music program, HMSS Film Scores, as he pursues his Master’s in Music Composition at Cleveland State University. He composed the music for the short film The Baby Doll Dance (featured at CSU’s annual student film showcase and the Youngstown Film Festival, where it was nominated for “Best Area Film”).

Rémi Godard, HMSS Classroom Instructor

Heights grad Rémi Godard is an actor and filmmaker who has worked in France and the United States. He currently lives in Paris, where he recently graduated from the Cours Florent, one of the country’s top acting conservatories. He also studied directing at Cleveland State University’s School of Film and Media Arts. His recent work includes working as a gaffer for “Respire Profondément,” a feature-length film shot in Guadeloupe and writing, shooting, and editing his first short film, “Métromania.”

Nat Dinga, HMSS Screen Writing Instructor

After building an extensive background in film and TV that goes back over 25 years from when he graduated from Heights High in 1996 and went to Tische School of the Arts at NYU, graduating with a BFA in 2000. Since graduating, Nat worked for everyone from directors to showrunners to producers to entertainment attorneys.

Tiffany Alexander, Writing Instructor (Lake Erie Ink)

Tiffany is a journalist, author, and screenwriter dedicated to bringing diverse voices to media. She has a BA from Hampton University and an MFA from the University of Georgia. When she isn’t writing or teaching, you can find her in her garden growing heirloom tomatoes and specialty melons. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and watching 70s and 80s television sitcoms.

Matt Hribar, Writing Instructor (Lake Erie Ink)

Matt currently works in the entertainment and media industry as a producer, voice talent, emcee, writer, event host, tour guide, actor, and DJ, and he runs his own creative content LLC Starvolt Studios, where he teaches writing, content creation, and creative arts. He recently finished his M.A. in Digital Storytelling Communications. His hobbies include working out, producing catchy pop music, and soaking in the culture in Northeast Ohio.
