Students in grades 6-9 who live in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights neighborhood are encouraged to apply for Heights Middle School Shorts (HMSS® I).

Students currently in 6-12 grade, including members of the Career Technical Education Programs within the Heights Consortium (Maple Heights, Shaker Heights and Warrensville Heights) are encourage to apply for HMSS® II.

HMSS I

3-week mixed-media film arts camp program that runs from April 11, 18, 25*, May 2 & 9 (11AM-1PM) June 1- 12 (11AM-3PM)

HMSS® I is limited to 30 campers. Applications for HMSS® I Season 6 is available now- April 30, 2026. Click here to apply.

HMSS® Film Screening is on June 14, 2026.

HMSS II

A One week film program highlighting a subject and documenting the students’ experience on location from June 22-26, 2026 (11AM-3PM). HMSS® II is limited to 6 student campers. Applications for HMSS® II available now- April 30, 2026. Click here to apply.
