Building Heights thanks everyone throughout the Cleveland Heights-University Heights community – and beyond – whose guidance, time, and generosity are critical to the success of Heights Middle School Shorts, including in particular:

The Heights Middle School Shorts logo was designed by Abby Burton, who has also provided us with invaluable marketing assistance and advice. She is a co-founder of West 10G Productions, a Cleveland-based film studio established in 2016 to help promote and advocate for film and entertainment in Ohio. West 10G is available for all forms of media from commercials and ads to full-length feature films.

Lake Erie Ink teaching artists assist students foremost in finding joy and self-expression in writing. Their work with children and teens involves breaking down barriers of fear and resistance and encouraging curiosity and trust in the process of writing and sharing with others.

The Greater Cleveland Urban Film Foundation (GCUFF) established in 2012, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation has partnered with Building Heights to enter and screen Heights Middle School Shorts student films since 2022 at their annual Film Festival.

Artwork for the Heights Middle School Shorts T-Shirts provided to our campers and staff was generously donated by Cleveland-based artist Laura Naples. A graphic designer turned painter, she employs color, stroke, layering, and varied use of media in an abstract style.
