We’re excited to announce that the 20 free-of-charge spots at Heights Middle School Shorts have been filled, and that we’re now accepting open enrollment applications on a first-come, first-served basis.
These openings will fill fast, so interested students and their families should act quickly to submit their applications and pay the deposit to reserve a spot.
All 6-8th grade students in the CHUH school district are encouraged to apply.
We’re looking for campers who:
- Demonstrate an interest in the film arts, music, adventure, creative art expression, writing, acting and/or public speaking
- Are open to engaging with other students from both Roxboro Middle & Monticello Middle schools
- Seek a program that is challenging and makes you think outside the box
- Are able to work with others in a group setting
- Want to be a part of a unique camp
Here’s how it works:
- Interested students complete our online application form to express interest get the process rolling.
- Once applications are received, we contact the parents / guardians of the student to confirm interest and provide details on the mandatory $50 deposit that must be provided to complete the application.
Because open enrollment students are admitted into the camp until all ten spots are filled, we do not anticipate accepting any deposits from applicants who have not been accepted. Nevertheless, we will fully refund any deposits made for students whose applications are not approved. - Parents have until April 15 to pay the remaining camp fees for students accepted into Heights Middle School Shorts 2021. If tuition is not paid in full by that date, the student’s deposit will be refunded and the student’s spot will be given to another applicant.
Tuition for the 2021 HMSS camps is as follows:
- $250 for one student
- $225 for each additional sibling
Remember: Open Enrollment spots will fill quickly, so we encourage all interested students to apply as soon as possible.
